Learn the science of rewiring your brain for ongoing success!
“Positive thoughts have a profound effect on behavior and genes, but only when they are in harmony with subconscious programming….When it comes to sheer neurological processing abilities, the subconscious mind is millions of time more powerful than the conscious mind.” –Bruce Lipton, Ph.D., The Biology of Belief.
New Year’s resolutions do not work! Instead, they place you on a roller coaster where you are upone day and down the next. You become afraid, fearful and you retreat into the SAME OLD SAME OLD. So what happens? You hide, you don’t think about the person YOU ARE DESTINED to become. You get lost in the same bad habits, over and over again. You think to yourself “I know I can be more!”

Listen carefully! There is a science behind becoming WEALTHY, being HAPPY and having a HEALTHY, LOVING RELATIONSHIP. That’s right — a science. That means a proven scientific way of rewiring the mind to BREAK THROUGH THOSE HIDDEN BELIEFS that do not serve you and teach your mind to accept and allow you to move with confidence toward your every goal.

Imagine waking up every morning KNOWING you can reach your dreams, with a vision so strong you are inspired to take the right actions to follow through towards the outcomes you desire. No longer will you wonder “What if?” Now your internal responses will be “I CAN,” “I CHOOSE,” “I AM COMMITTED!”
This half-day workshop will be taught by belief change expert and life coach Gail Jones from SupportMatters.com and the author of To Hell and Back…Healing Your Way Through Transition and motivational leader Anthony Pasquale from The Mindful Wealth Group and the Courage Within.
We look forward to helping empower you to live the life of your dreams from the inside out–where real change happens.

"You don't have to be great to get started, but you have to get started to be great." --Les Brown Thinking is good, yes it is.

I strongly encourage thinking. In fact, thinking plays a terrific role in success. It helps you strategize. It helps you get motivated. It tunes you into success. I am all for thinking and I do it regularly!

That being said, just thinking, no matter how good of a thinker you are, will never catapult you to success. The difference between the thinker who succeeds and the thinker who doesn't is that the thinker who succeeds also ACTS! Life does not reward thinking. Life rewards action.

Let me clarify: Life rewards thoughtful action. Think first, by all means...
But then ACT!

Do you want to gain wealth? Then save your money - ACT!

Do you want to lose weight? Then hit the treadmill - ACT!

Do you want new students? Then get advice from successful schools owners - ACT!

Do you want to write a book? Then begin to write - ACT!

Do you want a new friend? Then introduce yourself - ACT!

Anything you want to accomplish will only be done by bold and decisive action. Wishing won't bring it about. Neither will dreaming. Nor will hoping. Nope, you must ACT.

What is it you want from life? Tell me. Be specific. Be clear. Think about it. Strategize. Roll it around inside that noggin of yours.
Got it? Good.

Now what? What will you DO to turn that non-physical electrical impulse we call a thought into a physical reality? There is only one thing: ACTION. Will you succeed? Will you achieve your dreams? Will you live the life that you want? Only you can make that decision because only you can decide whether or not you will act.

My friends, life rewards action. Your actions do not need to be perfect. They just need to be. And then they get rewarded with success. With achievement.

Accomplishment. You have the power within you to lead YOUR life as you see it. There is only one question you must answer for yourself: Will I act? Because Life Rewards Action.

BECOME WITHIN! It's the little steps that count.

"Success and failure comes in pairs. Either you have a pair of aces called 'Resolve and Undenied'... or a pair of jokers called 'Wishing and Won't-ing'... your hand to play." -- Doug Firebaugh

I would like to briefly talk about how you can BECOME MORE in your life.

This is a mental technique you can use immediately to begin to 'tap into' that incredible inner power you all have within you, but many of you haven't yet used.

Those of us who have a 'hunger' to improve our lives, become the person we want to be, have all the things we want to have, and do what we want to do for the rest of our lives seem to have a problem 'opening that door' that puts it all together for us.

If you went for a swim from the shore of a lake to a diving raft located about 50 yards out from the shore what would happen if you stopped in the middle 25 yards from the shore and 25 yards from the raft?

You would be 'treading water. You're afloat and you're comfortable, but you aren't going any where.

You're not making any progress. Too often in our lives it seems we are 'treading water.' And usually it is a result of us BEING what we are USED TO BEING, and no more than that.

Most people operate on 7%-15% of the power of their mind. This is normal, so don't freak out. We tend to get into an 'auto-pilot' stage of life and we aren't necessarily going backward, but we aren't going forward either. We all WANT to go forward as this natural human desire, but the 'pull' of daily life keeps us in this 'treading water' mode.

So how do we stop treading water and move forward to get where we want to go?

Why not 'consciously decide' in your heart and mind that you are going to BECOME MORE than what you are used to 'being?' When you go to work or school tomorrow say to yourself "I'm going to BECOME MORE today than I am used to being each day." Then have confidence in your talents and abilities and creativity and DO a little extra than what you are normally used to doing.

Consciously search for little things that you could do that you normally don't, or won't, do.

Whether it's a small action you could take at work/school, or a compliment you could pay to a co-worker or boss, or some type of extra help you could give to someone, when you decide you are going to BECOME MORE than what you usually are, you begin to 'tap into' a portion of that other 85% of your mind power you aren't using.

Your empathy and compassion for others begins to increase.

Your awareness of your own abilities and talents begins to increase.

Your self-respect begins to increase.

Your awareness of your inner power begins to increase.

Your outlook and attitude of the immediate world around you that you live in begins to change.

Your 'wisdom' about life begins to increase.

You don't have to make 'major' changes about how you go about living your daily life to BECOME MORE. But you do need to begin to make 'small' changes. When you decide to make 'small' changes they add up over a short period of time and end up resulting in 'major' changes in your life.

It's like throwing a couple quarters in a jar daily. After a short period of time you end up having a significant amount of money saved up.

Why not 'consciously decide' to BECOME MORE than what you're normally used to being just a little each day and enjoy a significant increase in the quality of your life? By deciding in your mind to BECOME MORE a little each day you will be 'tapping into' that other 85% of your unused inner power and good things will begin to appear in your life.

You will become more abundant and prosperous. You will begin to be happier. You will find more peace and joy. Your relationships with others will be more fulfilling. Your self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-confidence will increase. Opportunities that were previously 'hidden' from you will become more 'clear.' Your physical health will be much better. Worry and doubt will begin to disappear.

You will become closer to attaining your goals and having your desires in life. So when you leave your home tomorrow tell yourself you are going to BECOME MORE today than you were yesterday. REMEMBER THOSE 2 WORDS and say them to yourself as many times as you can throughout your day tomorrow.

Then make it a habit to search for ways you can BECOME MORE each and every day of your life and you will 'tap into' into the incredible unused inner power that lies within each and every one of you...

DESIRE! The fire from within!

Desire is the Fire, the Fuel of Goal Achievement!

When you have a burning desire for something, you will take the necessary action steps to see that you will achieve it. A burning desire will see you move through, over and around the obstacles that might otherwise stand in your way. Desire propels you forward towards that which you desire most. The more intensely you desire your goals the more likely you are to take action and do something about them.

Those who pursue goals with low levels of desire always find the path to the achievement of their goals a battle. They struggle to get themselves to take action and instead engage in sabotaging behavior such as procrastination, delay, and paper shuffling. A low level of desire rarely manifests itself into high levels of goal achievement.

Some people are consumed by an almighty dream or goal that leads them to high levels of desire. This burning desire manifests itself into single mindedness and focus on a specific purpose. Strong desire leads people to develop a sense of mission or purpose in life. The result can be difficulty sleeping nights as your desire for your goals keeps you constantly creating new ways of moving forward.

In my own life I developed a burning desire to become a social entrepreneur. The desire to make a difference in the lives of others led me to develop a sense of mission to move towards my goal of impacting one million people. Even though at the time I was working more than 60 hours per weekin my martial arts school, my strong desire drove me to get out of bed at 4:30 in the morning to work on my goals.

In time this overwhelming desire moved me to the point where I could work less at my job (just making a school run) and spend more time on my goals. A Burning desire is the key to getting your goals. So a burning desire is one of the essential keys to getting your goals. Without it your goals may remain elusive and out of reach. With a burning desire your goals become real as you move towards them.

The intensity of your desire will determine the tenacity and drive you have to achieve your goals. The more you can do to build your desire the greater the likely hood of successfully achieving your goals. To build your desire for your goals you should spend time getting fully associated with your reasons WHY! If you can build a huge compelling list of reasons WHY you must achieve your goals then it is likely that your desire levels will rise.

If you have poor reasons why you wish to achieve your goals then it is hard to imagine your desire levels will be strong enough to demand that you take positive steps forward. Build your desire & achieve your goals. If desire is the fuel of goal achievement then it makes sense that the more you build your desire the greater your chance of success. So what can you do to build your desire?

It starts with a focus on WHY you want to achieve your goals. Work on building your list of reasons WHY first. As you focus on the benefits of achieving your goals your desire will naturally rise. Do everything you can to fan the flames of desire. Get images of your goalsand put them everywhere. Do everything you can to reinforce to yourself howstrongly you want to achieve your goals. Fan the flames of desire and watch it propel you towards your goals!

Overcoming the Tendency to Procrastinate!

Seven Techniques for Overcoming the Tendency to Procrastinate

The science of physics recognizes two kinds of inertia - both of which can be related to procrastination. The first law states, "Standing objects tend to remain stationary." The second law is the inverse: "Moving objects tend to stay in motion."

Procrastination is stationary inertia. We aren't moving, and we therefore don't move!

Procrastination overcome, however, moves us into the arena where the law of motion takes over. We frequently find that once we've started a project or process, we stay with it until completion. One of my favorite sayings from my friend Dr. Robert Schuller is posted on my word processor: "Beginning is Half Done!" (I've modified it to say, "Beginning is Half Won!")

Here are seven techniques to overcome procrastination:

1. Take five minutes to identify what you are putting off.
On a blank sheet of paper, note several important activities that you realize you are delaying or have put on hold.

2. Look at your list of tasks and do one of them right now.
Put the energy you've been directing toward excuses into the activity you've been avoiding. You'll discover that action eliminates anxiety.

3. If getting started is the hard part for you, set a designated time slot in the day to work on the list.
Set aside thirty minutes of your lunch hour for work specifically on one job, project, or personal goal that you've been avoiding or find difficult to start.

4. Don't worry about perfection.
What counts is quality of effort, not perfect results. Don't let yourself get bogged down with a preoccupation for perfectionism.

5. If what you are putting off involves other people, consult with them.
Your reasons for delaying action may be imaginary. Lack of communication often turns molehills into mountains.

6. If you fear the consequences associated with the action you've been avoiding, ask yourself, What's the worst thing that could happen If I did this today?
The worst-case scenario most likely would be a minor inconvenience or a temporary setback.

7. Finally, Vividly picture how you'll feel once the task is done.
Freedom from anxiety. Freedom from nagging pressures. Freedom from self-doubt. Accomplishing put-off tasks will give you a great boost of confidence and energy!

Ground breaking requires TNT. To blast your way out of apathy and overcoming procrastination. Remember what TNT means: Today! Not Tomorrow!

The Courage to stand up again!

Hello and Great success to all of you. This is Anthony Pasquale from Danvers Martial Arts and AJP Enterprise a Mindful Wealth Group. Success comes fast to those who are ready for it. Courage to Get Back Up

Craig B. Larson, writing in "Fresh illustrations for preaching and teaching," makes an interesting observation about "getting knocked down:" Bringing a giraffe into the world is a tall order. A baby giraffe falls 10 feet from its mother's womb and usually lands on its back. Within seconds it rolls over and tucks its legs under its body. From this position it considers the world for the first time and shakes off the last vestiges of the birthing fluid from its eyes and ears.

Then the mother giraffe rudely introduces its offspring to the reality of life. In his book, A View from the Zoo, Gary Richmond describes how a newborn giraffe learns its first lesson. The mother giraffe lowers her head long enough to take a quick look. Then she positions herself directly over her calf. She waits for about a minute, and then she does the most unreasonable thing. She swings her long, pendulous leg outward and kicks her baby, so that it is sent sprawling head over heels. When it doesn't get up, the violent process is repeated over and over again.

The struggle to rise is momentous. As the baby calf grows tired, the mother kicks it again to stimulate its efforts. Finally, the calf stands for the first time on its wobbly legs. Then the mother giraffe does the most remarkable thing. She kicks it off its feet again. Why? She wants it to remember how it got up. In the wild, baby giraffes must be able to get up as quickly as possible to stay with the herd, where there is safety. Lions, hyenas, leopards, and wild hunting dogs all enjoy young giraffes, and they'd get it too, if the mother didn't teach her calf to get up quickly and get with it.

The late Irving Stone understood this. He spent a lifetime studying greatness, writing novelized biographies of such men as Michelangelo, Vincent van Gogh, Sigmund Freud, and Charles Darwin. Stone was once asked if he had found a thread that runs through the lives of all these exceptional people. He said, "I write about people who sometime in their life have a vision or dream of something that should be accomplished and they go to work.’ "They are beaten over the head, knocked down, vilified, and for years they get nowhere.

But every time they're knocked down they stand up. You cannot destroy these people. And at the end of their lives they've accomplished some modest part of what they set out to do." Have you learned to get back up? Being defeated is a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent. Steven Covey says, “The proactive approach to a mistake is to acknowledge it instantly, correct and learn from it. This literally turns a failure into a success.”

Success is never final and failure is not fatal. It is the courage to get back up that counts!

You are what you believe. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF
